I'm considering a setup with an RTX 5070 TI graphics card and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, but I'm only using 16GB of DDR5 RAM. I got this RAM before the price hike and I'm hesitant to buy another 16GB stick at the current inflated price. I plan to game at 1440p, but I'm unsure if this is enough RAM for modern titles.

That really depends on which games you're playing. For most recent titles at 1440p, 16GB should be decent, but it could bottleneck in some heavy titles or if you're multitasking.
You'll definitely want more RAM if you're aiming for serious performance. One module means slower speeds compared to running dual channel, and some games might choke with only 16GB.
For 720p, 16GB would be fine, but for 1440p gaming, it's better to consider adding another stick sooner rather than later! Just keep an eye on those prices.

Yeah, especially if you're running something like a vast open-world game. Two RAM sticks could help with performance a bit too.
