I'm currently taking a Python course by Angela Yu, and while I'm finding it helpful, I can't shake the feeling that some of the material seems a bit outdated since it's from 2023. Has anyone else felt this way, or can you suggest more up-to-date resources?

What exactly feels outdated about the course? I mean, Python has been pretty stable for a while now, so I doubt there’s been a ton of drastic changes since 2023.
I get where you're coming from, but how can you be sure it’s outdated? You're just getting started, so it's hard to compare. Give it some time; you might find it’s just what you need!
Everything changes in programming, but the core of Python hasn’t shifted much. Some libraries might have seen updates, but that could be an issue across many courses. I personally learned from another popular course and found it super relevant.
Honestly, I think the course is still solid. Although I've heard that around day 50, things start to get a bit less engaging. If you're looking for alternatives, you might want to check out the University of Helsinki's free Python course. It's hands-on and covers a lot of the essentials really well!
That course is great! I love how practice-oriented it is. Definitely a solid first step into programming.

Exactly! Even if some stuff feels out of date, the foundational knowledge will always be valuable. Just adapt to newer libraries and you'll be fine!
