I'm considering getting a used RX 6600 to save some money, but I want to know if it's a wise choice. I've found a used one that's $60 cheaper than a new model, but I'm not sure if the savings are worth the potential risks. What do you all think?

Honestly, saving $60 might not be worth it. You could find a faster used GPU for that same price as the new RX 6600. Just keep an eye out for better deals!
I've bought most of my GPUs used—4 out of 6 have been second-hand, and I've had zero issues. I just picked up a used RX 6600 for a friend, and it's running great!
If you're careful, buying used can get you great performance for less. I snagged a 3070 for around $195, got to test it beforehand, and it worked perfectly! Just make sure you can test used parts and negotiate.
Good tip! I didn't think about negotiating—I usually just settle for the listed price.
Buying used can be fine, but remember you miss out on warranties. I suggest waiting for a killer deal rather than settling for just a $60 discount. I got a 4070ti for $550 last August and couldn't be happier!
That's awesome! What kind of testing did you do to ensure it was in good condition?
