I'm looking to enhance my prompts and recently stumbled upon the Claude Prompt Improver. I'm curious if anyone has actually used it and can share their thoughts. Is it worth paying for, or would I be better off using Claude or Gemini with default settings to improve my prompts instead? I've noticed it's not available as a standard option for Pro or Max subscribers, which makes me wonder why. Have you experienced any notable performance boosts from using this tool?

I've found that Gemini does a great job at improving prompts for Claude. When Claude messes up and doesn't follow my instructions, I simply ask it to list what it missed and create a new prompt that nails it. It often delivers a much better result that way.

Honestly, the best move is to just try it out yourself. I've found the Claude Prompt Improver helpful, especially for coding situations, but there's a big difference in writing prompts for code versus a chat interface. If you're mainly working in chat, you might just want to experiment with quick tweaks and corrections instead of committing to the tool. However, if you're coding with strict parameters, those evaluation tools can be a real asset.

I've heard some people say it's just a placebo effect or part of a cargo cult mentality. Just remember, what works for one person might not work for another, so weigh your options based on your own experience.

That's a good point! It's all about finding what fits your own style and workflow.
