Is FreeCodeCamp’s Full Stack Developer Curriculum Worth It?

I'm currently exploring resources for learning front-end and full stack development, and I already have certificates from FreeCodeCamp in Responsive Web Design and JS Algorithms and Data Structures. I'm trying to work on small projects independently and was thinking about tackling the FreeCodeCamp Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum. I'm curious whether it's a good curriculum and if it includes projects that I can showcase in my GitHub repo. Also, would I receive a certificate for what I've completed so far even if the course isn't finished? Lastly, should I focus on building my own projects with HTML, CSS, and JS (and maybe some SQL and PHP) to deepen my skills before jumping into frameworks like React? I appreciate any advice!

I think the curriculum is decent, but it can be tough to navigate at times. If you're looking for a structured learning path, you might also want to consider other courses like those from IBM on Coursera. They are more detailed if you prefer that style.

Thanks for the tip! Would you recommend I focus on my projects first before diving into those courses?

Definitely worth checking out! Since it's free, you have nothing to lose. Just keep in mind that while it’s great for learning, employers often place more value on practical experience than certifications.

Exactly! Experience speaks volumes, so don’t hesitate to work on your own projects.
