I'm curious about the Harvard CS50 course and whether it's a good idea to take it before starting college. I plan to learn Java soon, and I'm not sure if I should do CS50 to grasp how computers work or just wait for college courses to cover the same material. Will colleges teach similar content, or is CS50 a unique experience?

CS50 is a fantastic introductory course for computer science. It can really give you a leg up when you start college, especially if you don't have any prior experience with coding. You shouldn't wait—go for it! It'll make your adjustment to college much easier.

I’m mostly focused on Java right now, and I'm worried that taking CS50 might take too much time. Will colleges really be covering the same stuff as CS50? It seems like it's just an intro course, right?
