Is it better to buy a new PC now or wait for prices to drop?

I'm considering purchasing a new, high-performance PC, but I'm worried because RAM prices have been soaring. I've heard that GPU prices might also rise due to decreased production expected in 2026. Should I just buy a PC now or hold off for a while?

Prices across the board—GPU, CPU, RAM—are expected to rise, so getting a new rig now could be a smart move for the next few years. You don’t want to regret not acting sooner!

You might want to think about holding off or going for a pre-built system. Prices for RAM have spiked dramatically, and while some deals pop up, they’re not always the best. Just be careful if you’re looking to upgrade for gaming!

I say buy now! RAM prices are set to keep rising at least until 2026, and since GPUs also rely on RAM, their prices will likely follow suit. Plus, storage costs are climbing too because of AI data centers needing more. Don't wait too long!

If you can, grab the pre-built model at Costco for around $1500. It’s a solid deal if you want to avoid the hassle of building your own.

It’s hard to predict exactly what will happen, but you might already be behind the curve. Prices could keep going up, so buying soon might save you from higher costs later.
