Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on reinstalling Windows 10. I accidentally corrupted my laptop and I need to install a fresh version. I have a USB drive with 128GB of storage but I'm not sure if any USB will work for this. My main question is whether I should try to reinstall Windows myself or if it's worth it to get a professional to help. Any tips on how to go about it would also be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

It's definitely cheaper to do it yourself! You can use any USB drive for this, just follow these simple steps: 1. Go to Microsoft's Windows 10 download page. 2. Download the Media Creation Tool. 3. Run it and follow the prompts to create a bootable USB. Once you have the USB ready, just insert it into your computer and boot from it to install Windows 10. Easy peasy!
Thanks for the detailed steps!
Thanks for the guidance! I'm going to give it a shot right now!
Doing it yourself can be free if you find some activation scripts online, but just be careful. Microsoft is aware of them but doesn't really crack down since they can’t have everyone switching to Linux. Just a heads up to avoid buying second-hand activation keys; you might get scammed!
Can I use a public computer like at an internet café to download Windows 10? That's my only option right now.
