I've been resetting my PC with a complete wipe of all drives for over 4 hours now, and it seems to be crawling along at only about 4% completion per hour. I opted for a cloud download to reinstall Windows. Just for context, I have a single HDD, but it's a pretty fast one—though it's quite loud, which is part of the reason I want to get rid of it. Is this slow progress something I should be concerned about?

It's tough to say what's going on exactly. Personally, I would just let the reset continue unless it completely freezes for an extended period. Stopping it might cause more issues than it's worth.
Honestly, doing a clean install of Windows with a USB would likely have been faster. Just my two cents!
The time it takes can depend a lot on the size of your HDD and its speed. If it’s a high-performance drive, say 100-200MB/s, then wiping a 10TB drive could take quite a while—12-24 hours even. It might be that Windows is showing progress based on different drives and not accurately reflecting the real-time status. If you're planning to keep using it, you might want to shut it down and go for a clean install instead of wiping everything out.
I wanted to wipe my data because I've had various issues and some paths set on my D: drive, which is the HDD. Since I'm looking to completely remove that drive, I figured this would be the way to do it.

I see what you mean, but right now, everything's in the deletion phase. Do you think the cloud installation impacts that speed?
