Is it okay to swap out most PC parts for a new build?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about swapping out nearly all the parts of my PC while keeping my SSDs. I'm doing this because I want to give my old setup to an employee. Is it okay to do this? I know it's basically a new build, but I'm really curious about the compatibility of the new parts. Here's what I'm looking to change:

- Motherboard: Going from a Gigabyte A520 to a B650 Tomahawk
- CPU: Upgrading from an AM4 chip (can't remember which) to a 9700x
- GPU: Switching from an AMD Rx 5700 to a GeForce RTX 5070

The rest stays pretty much the same – I'll keep the 16GB RAM (might upgrade later, not sure), I have a Peerless Assassin cooler, a new mid tower case, and the same 2TB SSDs with the same PSU since I upgraded that a few months ago. Any suggestions on how to approach this upgrade? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

If you’re going for DDR5, you should consider getting 2x16GB sticks. A fresh install of Windows might also be necessary, but it can help with overall performance. As for mixing RAM, it’s generally best to use matched pairs to avoid any issues.

You might need to do a clean install of Windows on the new setup, and you could also require a new Windows key, depending on how Windows was originally activated. It’s definitely worthwhile to check that before you dive in!
