Is It Okay to Use Numbers in Your Domain Name?

I'm launching my first web development agency and have found a domain name I love that includes a number in the format of word + number (like hello24.com or development42.com). I'm wondering if having numbers in the domain could hurt my SEO or make it challenging for people to remember or type it correctly. For those with experience, has anyone used a domain with numbers? Did you encounter any issues?

If the number fits your brand, go for it! It won’t directly hurt your SEO as long as it's clear. Just make sure it doesn't confuse people.

Numbers in your domain don’t impact rankings according to Google. The real issue might be how people communicate it. For example, saying "go to hello24 dot com" could cause confusion. Generally, using a word with a number is better than random digits since it helps with recall. It sounds like your choice implies availability, which is a plus!

Just a heads up, using a domain with numbers is fine for SEO, but consider how you'll handle things like phone support or advertising. You want to make it easy for people to remember and spell it out!
