Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a PC for my dad who mainly needs it for web browsing, checking emails, using some stock market programs, and watching videos. He doesn't require heavy graphics performance, so I'm curious if I can get away with using a CPU that has integrated graphics instead of investing in a separate GPU. If that's feasible, what CPU and motherboard combo would you recommend? My budget is between $300 - $500, so I'd prefer to allocate the funds towards a better CPU, RAM, or storage instead of a GPU. Have any of you done a GPU-less build and have suggestions for parts? Thanks!

You know, a mini PC could be a great fit for your dad's needs. For example, something like the Beelink model is really affordable and works well for basic tasks like browsing and watching videos. It might save you the trouble of building a whole new system!
