Hey everyone, I accidentally updated my iPhone 14 to iOS 26 while I was sleeping, and it's really messing with my phone's performance and functionality. I'm not a fan of the new look and behavior, and I'm wondering if there's any way to revert back to iOS 18. Has anyone found a method to downgrade?

Yeah, they do really push those updates without any warning. It's definitely frustrating! But, just so you know, there’s no method to revert back to iOS 18. You might want to check for settings that can help optimize your current system.

Once you're updated, Apple's design is pretty much designed to keep you there. You can’t go back. But keep an eye on updates; they might fix some of the issues you’re facing as they refine iOS 26.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to downgrade to earlier versions of iOS once you’ve updated. Apple doesn’t allow downgrades; it’s a one-way street. So once you’re on iOS 26, you’re stuck there for now.

It's pretty much impossible to downgrade your iOS version. If you’re not happy with the new update, your best bet is to turn off auto-updates in your settings to avoid this happening again!
