I'm looking to use the Gear VR controller as a presentation tool for my work setup on my Linux laptop, which runs Zorin OS. I often connect my laptop to a TV in the classroom for presentations, games, and movies. It would be really helpful if I could get this controller app working instead of buying a new air mouse. Is there a way to do this?

You can definitely get it to run! First, make sure you have WINE installed along with .NET 6.02. Once you have those, the program should launch fine. Just a heads up, though: some users have reported issues where it crashes after entering the MAC address. Make sure to confirm you have Bluetooth support set up with WINE.
You might want to check out a different GitHub project specifically for Linux. It's designed for the Gear VR controller and could save you some hassle: [gear-vr-controller-linux](https://github.com/rdady/gear-vr-controller-linux). Back in the day, I used a Wii controller as well on my Linux setup, and they worked like a charm! You can customize the gestures and button actions too.
