Is it realistic to get all five Kubernetes certifications in 12 months?

Hey folks! I'm a software engineer with a decade of experience under my belt. I've been preparing for the CKAD exam using the KodeKloud course and I'm almost done. Since I lack professional experience with Kubernetes, I'm taking on this challenge to boost my resume with more certificates and possibly shift towards cloud or infrastructure roles. There's a Cyber Monday deal for the kubestronaut bundle, but I'm thinking of grabbing the two bundles separately. Do you think I can handle all five certifications in a year? I know KCNA and KCSA aren't as valuable—I'm primarily aiming for them just for the badge and jacket. Should I focus on CKA, CKS, and CKAD first and save the other two for next year during another sale?

I get where you're coming from. The CKA and CKAD are definitely worth it for proving your knowledge. I learned way more from the CKS training than the CKA itself. But honestly, I'm not interested in the kubestronaut bundle hype—I'd rather focus on what really enhances my skills.

Isn't it worth it to earn those certifications for a couple of years, especially if it helps you land a higher role? I found that my DevOps Engineer certification opened more doors for me during interviews. Given that, it makes sense to tackle the first few certifications soon, right?

Totally doable! But honestly, think about how much you're spending since these certificates expire after three years. If your company is covering it, then go ahead! I grabbed the CKA and CKS because I identified a gap in our security team, and now I'm really enjoying my role focused on Kubernetes security. The CKAD and the other two certifications come pretty easy after that— I knocked them all out in a weekend! I’m not planning to keep them active though.
