I just got a PC from my friend, and while he was removing the CPU, he accidentally touched the underside of it. I told him to stop, but now there's some finger oil on the bottom and the heatsink. Can I clean it, or should I just throw it away?

It should be good as long as you give it a quick wipe with a dry cloth. No need to stress!

Does it need to be a microfiber cloth for the best results?

You can just wipe it off, and it'll be totally fine! Honestly, even if you didn't clean it, I bet it would still work without any issues.
