So here's the deal: after a Windows update messed up my laptop, I took it to GeekSquad and they fixed it by reinstalling Windows. However, they left behind a huge folder called 'GS Data Transfer' that's taking up almost 70GB of space. I'm worried because I need the storage, but I don't want to accidentally delete something important. Inside the folder, there's some tech stuff I don't really understand, a user folder that's empty, and even a random folder from Riot Games. Can anyone let me know if I can safely delete this folder or if it's holding onto something crucial? I'm not super tech-savvy, so any advice is appreciated!

You should be okay to delete that folder if you need more storage. Just to be safe, take a look through it first to see what's inside. Most of your essential Windows apps and files are stored in the windows folder, so it’s probably just a backup of your personal stuff. By the way, what file type did you mean? Just checking!
