Hey everyone, I'm working with an on-premise Exchange 2019 setup and noticed I have a couple of mailboxes: extest_b05531586 and extest_a05675849. Can I go ahead and safely delete these accounts, or might they be in use for something?

I actually deleted similar test accounts in my setup, and it went smoothly with no issues. But remember, these accounts often are created by running Test-WebServicesConnectivity and other connectivity tests. Just double-check that they're not being used in any current tests before you delete!
I can confirm I recently removed some test accounts similar to yours without any problems. If they weren't in my environment, I figured they were already cleaned up by someone else. Sounds like it's safe to delete!
Honestly, it's risky to delete accounts without knowing their purpose. Those mailboxes could be tied to some testing scripts or system monitoring. I'd recommend checking if they're active before proceeding. Just a precaution!
Good point! I'll look into those commands further.
What if they just pop up from those Test CMDlets? Do you think they're definitely unused?
