I'm wondering if I can combine these two pairs of RAM sticks for my system. I've got two XPG DDR5 6400 8GB sticks (16GB total) and two VENGEANCE DDR5 6400 32GB sticks (64GB total). I do a lot of video editing with really large files, sometimes over 80GB, and Premiere is quite demanding on RAM. With current prices, I don't want to buy new sticks, but I just found this second pair at home and I'm curious if it would work well together.

Honestly, I'd recommend just running 64GB for better reliability instead of mixing them.
I’d warn against mixing those sizes. Using mismatched sticks could cause stability issues, especially with demanding tasks like video editing. If you can, stick to matched kits, or just use the two 32GB sticks. That should be plenty!
Mixing RAM usually works, but it can be a bit tricky! Your system might boot, but DDR5 will likely downclock to the slowest speed and relax timings to whatever the weakest profile is. For heavy tasks like video editing, stability is key, so if you try it, be sure to test thoroughly. Stress testing is a must to catch any subtle instabilities that might cause issues during long renders.
Always do a memtest first! If it passes without errors for about 30 minutes, you're good to go. If there’s even one error, it might not be worth it.
Sure, you should be fine to mix them! Just check if you can run both at 6400 speed and keep an eye on dual channel settings. There's really no risk in giving it a shot.
