Hello everyone! I'm currently using both PCIe outputs from my power supply to power one RTX 3090, as I've read that daisy-chaining isn't a good idea because a PCIe 6+2 cable can only handle 150 watts. Now, I'm looking to connect a second RTX 3090 using a PCIe 5.1 output with an adapter that splits it into two 6+2 connectors. Do you think this setup will work safely? I'm also open to any alternative suggestions. Thanks! By the way, my power supply model is the be quiet! 12M 1200W.

Are you sure you want to run two RTX 3090s? Just curious, what's your PSU model?
Also, remember that while the plug is rated for 150W, the wire gauge can allow for different loads. Just make sure your cables are up to the task!
What exact model of the power supply are you using? In theory, it should handle this, but if the PSU isn't top-notch, you might run into issues eventually.
