I was on a Teams call and when I pulled out my headphone's aux cable, my Windows 11 PC immediately crashed with a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) showing a stop code 0x139 (KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE). After the crash, it displayed a message saying "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" but hasn't actually restarted on its own, and has been stuck like that for about an hour. I'm anxious about restarting it manually since I've had a bad experience with a previous computer when plugging in devices seemed to cause major issues. I'd appreciate some reassurance or advice from someone who knows this stuff better than I do.

At this point, you've waited long enough—it's safe to just restart your PC. You're right to be cautious given your past experience, but in cases like this, a manual restart is generally the go-to solution. Just be prepared for any potential dump files that might get corrupted, but don't stress too much!
If you usually don’t have electrical issues, you should be fine. Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll go ahead and restart it.
