Is it safe to upgrade my GPU to a 5060 Ti, 5070, or 9070 XT? Which one should I pick?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU but I'm sticking with my current setup: an Asus ROG 470-F motherboard, a Ryzen 5600 processor, and 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM (2x8GB overclocked to 3200MHz). My power supply is a Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 rated at 750W, and I use a 1080p monitor. I'm considering either the RTX 5060 Ti, RTX 5070, or RX 9070 XT. Since I can't upgrade my other components and I've heard that my power supply might not be ideal for modern GPUs, I want to know if it's safe to upgrade to any of these cards and which would be the best choice for my current build.

I'd personally lean towards the 5070, it's a solid choice alongside the 9060 XT. The 5060 Ti is just too expensive for what you get right now.

For your current build, I'd recommend looking at the 9070 or 5070. But considering you're only gaming at 1080p, either the 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT should also work just fine if you're budget-sensitive.

Yeah, but the pricing in some places makes those cards a tough sell. In my area, the price difference between the 5060 Ti and the 9070 XT isn't that much - maybe €50-100, so I'd go for the 9070 XT.

Skip the 5060 Ti; it's not worth the price jump. Go for any of the 70-tier cards!

Definitely go for the RX 9070 XT! It's a great GPU that balances performance and price really well.

If you're gaming at 1080p with a Ryzen 5600, I would suggest the 5060 Ti or 9060 XT for best performance without overspending.

I run a 5070 on a 650W PSU without issues, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Honestly, the 5060 Ti might be your best budget option considering your current components.

You can technically get any of those GPUs, but for optimal stability, the 9070 XT recommends a 750W PSU at minimum. Double-check the specs on the manufacturer's site for the best info.

The non-XT 9070 is a wise choice for bang for your buck. It fits well with your CPU and PSU without straining your setup too much.

I wouldn't go for the premium 9070 XT models from Asrock or Sapphire because they need a 12VHPWR cable that your PSU doesn't support. Using an adapter with an older PSU can lead to issues. The 5070 is better in terms of power consumption compared to the 9070 XT, but the RTX 5060 Ti might not be worth it for your setup. If you can, stick with the 5070 or 9070 XT.

That's true! Unless you push your setup really hard, you shouldn’t face any problems. Just make sure to install it correctly, and you should be good to go. I wouldn't stress too much about the 12VHPWR unless you're planning on super high overclocks.

Totally agree! Plus, if you're going AMD, their connectors are much easier to deal with.

The RX 9070 might be the better bet considering your setup.

9070 XT all the way! Trust me, it's the best choice.
