Hey everyone! I'm putting together a new system and switching to a 4K monitor. My gaming usually revolves around titles like Civilization, CS2, and Minecraft, and I don't often dive into newer games. I'm looking at the prices here, where a reputable 5070 Ti (from brands like Zotac or Gigabyte) costs around 850-870 euros, while an XFX 9070 XT is going for about 705 euros. Do you all think the extra cost for the 5070 Ti is justified for my gaming needs? Also, I've heard some chatter about the 5070 Ti being limited in VRAM, and since my monitor has a dual mode feature, could the 5070 Ti be suitable for playing competitive shooters at 1080p? I'm really keen on not overspending on my graphics card, so your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I’d say go for the 9070 XT. It’ll give you better bang for your buck considering the games you play; it's a solid choice for 4K gaming without breaking the bank at that price.
While the 5070 Ti might be technically better, for what you’re playing, I'd recommend just going with the 9070 XT; you'll save money in the process.
Totally get that this is Reddit where many push for AMD, but I personally went with the 5070 Ti because I love using DLSS in the games where it's available. If DLSS doesn’t matter to you, then definitely stick with the 9070 XT!
For your gaming habits, I think the 9070 XT offers more value without needing the extra features Nvidia usually brings.
You’re at the point where it’s really between the two. For your specific games, I think the 9070 XT is the smarter buy; you won't go wrong with it!
If the price difference is only about 100 euros, I’d lean towards the 5070 Ti, but at 150 euros more? I'd stick with the 9070 XT all day long.
What about issues with drivers or microstuttering that some keep mentioning?
