I'm currently using my PC for work, mainly dealing with word documents and analyzing football stats, along with gaming at 1440p on an OLED 240Hz monitor. Here's my setup: 850W PSU, 32GB of DDR4 RAM (4x8), Asus Prime B550 Plus motherboard, AMD Radeon 9070 GPU, 2TB SSD, and Ryzen 7 5700X CPU. I've managed to upgrade the PSU, RAM, and GPU myself, but I'm not tech-savvy. I want to know if there's a worthwhile upgrade available, or if I should just be happy with my setup as it is.

If you're happy with your current setup, there's really no need to upgrade right now. You’re in a good spot for 1440p gaming, and even when your rig starts to struggle, you’ll probably find better upgrade options at lower prices in the future. Right now, upgrading anything would just be a waste of money since your performance is solid. Save those bucks for a major overhaul down the line, like a new motherboard and CPU.
Even if you’re considering upgrading to the 5700X3D or the 5800X3D for a bit more performance, it’s not cost-effective right now. You could resell your GPU for a 5070 Ti, but it might not be necessary. Your current setup holds strong for what you need.
I don’t think it’s worth swapping components just for marginal gains. Your current build is solid and can last a while longer!
You're looking good for 1440p! Your CPU is capable enough, especially for hitting 120-160Hz in most games. A few titles are CPU-heavy, but overall, you're set. Your 32GB of RAM is great, though 16GB would suffice for many users. You’ve nailed the GPU choice for decent performance without breaking the bank, and your 2TB SSD is plenty for games and files. Plus, your 850W PSU gives you room for future upgrades. All in all, I’d hold off on any minor upgrades for a couple of years unless you really need it.
Stick with your setup until it can’t keep up with your work or gaming. Only then should you consider an upgrade. You’re already hitting a sweet spot for 1440p gaming, so enjoy it!
It really depends on what you're aiming for with your upgrades. If you're just looking for a modest boost, it may not be worth it unless you're ready to invest. Your system is already well-equipped for gaming and work.

Exactly! By then, the hardware landscape will be completely different, and you’ll get more bang for your buck.
