I'm currently using Kubuntu because it's a stable system that allows for plenty of customization to make it visually appealing. However, I've been facing some issues lately, like frequent crashes with Firefox and Discover. I recently came across KIONITE, which is known for its robustness. I'm curious about KIONITE's customization options compared to Kubuntu. I primarily use VLC, qBitTorrent, and Firefox—will these applications work well on KIONITE?

If you're looking for stability, I'd recommend sticking with well-established distros like Debian, Fedora, or Ubuntu/Mint. These tend to offer better compatibility and support, while still being user-friendly.
Why do you want to move away from Ubuntu? If you have strong reasons, then switching may be worth it. Fedora is considered quite stable, and given your minimal use case, it should work well for you.
KIONITE works a bit differently than Kubuntu or other typical distros. It's based on rpm-ostree, which means it uses Flatpaks and AppImages instead of the usual package management system you might be familiar with in Ubuntu. This makes it more stable because it prevents potential breakage from random package installations. However, keep in mind that KDE customization could be limited. Be sure to check their documentation before making a switch to see if this atomic style is right for you.
