Is Learning Programmatic Logic Really Worth It for My Projects?

I'm really curious about programmatic logic and how it works, but I'm wondering if there's actual practical use in learning it. I'm planning to continue working on my projects alongside my learning, but I have this strong desire to dive into an academic textbook on the subject. Still, I'm a bit concerned that spending time on this might not be the best use of my efforts when I could just focus on building projects instead.

When you mention programming logic, are you referring to concepts like logic gates and truth tables? It's great that you want to grasp how formal logic is applied in coding!

It seems like the concern of reading being a waste of time pops up a lot. Remember that reading enriches your mindset. Schopenhauer once said reading without critical thinking can lead to lazy habits. So, it's all about balance!

You definitely need some understanding of programming logic to create projects effectively. Without it, you might struggle to implement your ideas properly.

Having that curiosity is actually a strength. It helps many people improve quickly. If you're looking for specific topics, checking out Discrete Math and logical equivalences can really help. Just make sure to practice coding with what you learn!

Absolutely follow that curiosity! Books that explain the reasoning behind programming can really boost your skills. Classics like SICP and 'Code' by Petzold are highly recommended if you want something in-depth.
