I'm currently in the process of building a new PC and I'm considering some deals on Lexar RAM. Specifically, I'm looking at a 16GBx2 kit with a speed of 6000MHz and a CL of 28 for $470. In today's market, do you think this is a worthwhile investment or am I getting scammed? Any insights would be appreciated!

Are you mainly planning to game with this PC? What's your intended use?
Honestly, 16GBx2 is quite a stretch! Most consumer motherboards only support a maximum of four sticks. Unless you’re flush with cash, I’d recommend going for a 2x16GB DDR5 kit with speeds around 5600-6400. The difference between 6000 CL32 and 6000 CL28 is minimal—maybe 1-2% FPS at most—but you could snag a decent 2x16GB DDR5 6000 CL36 kit for around $350 instead! It’s really not worth spending more than that right now.
Wait, I misspoke earlier. I was actually referring to 16GBx2!
Be careful with Lexar; it’s kind of like buying a second-hand toaster online — you never really know what you’re going to get! You might find better options for RAM.
Well, my Lexar RAM has actually been great for me!

I'm looking to do a bit of gaming, some DaVinci Resolve for video editing, Lightroom for photos, and I want to dabble into AI and ML later on.
