Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my CPU, and I'd love some advice. Right now, I'm using an Intel i5-10400F, have 32GB of RAM, and a 4070 Super graphics card. Do you think moving to an i5-12400F or i5-13400F would be a good upgrade, or should I aim higher?

Personally, I’d steer clear of the 13th-gen Raptor Lake CPUs. They've had some issues that could give you headaches down the line. Better to play it safe.
If you're looking for a solid upgrade, I'd suggest jumping to an i7 like the 13700K. It should serve you well for quite some time. Just double-check if your current motherboard is compatible with the new socket before you make the switch!

Exactly! Intel's 12600K, 13400F, and 14400F are fine, as they're just power-adjusted versions of the same chip. But definitely avoid the i7 and i9 from the 13th gen if possible.
