I'm planning to switch to Linux soon, mainly for gaming and web browsing, but I've never used any Linux distribution before. From what I've gathered, Linux Mint seems to be the most recommended option for beginners. Is that the right choice for me?

Yeah, Linux Mint is a solid pick for beginners! It's maintained by a skilled team, easy to navigate, and has a huge community for support. You can get familiar with Linux without too much hassle. I started there myself!

That's true, but once you're comfortable, exploring other distros could be fun. I started with Mint too but ended up on CachyOS because it better fits my needs.
