Is Mixing Different RAM Sizes and Speeds a Good Idea?

I've been stocking up on RAM a bit lately and ended up with a couple of 16GB sticks of DDR5 5600MT/s from Kingston Fury. I also bought another set of RAM, but I got confused; it's a 2 x 8GB set of DDR5 5200MT/s from the same brand. Both sets have a CAS latency of 40, but I'm worried about their physical sizes being quite different. I'm aware that if I mix these, the system will default to the slower speed. Should I just stick with the 32GB total (the two 16GB sticks), or is it worth it to combine them? Looking for some advice here!

It's generally not recommended to use four sticks of DDR5 in a setup, as stability can be a problem. I'd suggest just using the 2 x 16GB sticks for dual-channel performance, and maybe sell or return the 8GB ones if you can. It simplifies things and helps avoid potential issues!

Quick question! Are any of your RAM sticks SO-DIMM? Those are for laptops, and if that's the case, they won't fit in your desktop. Also, do you really need more than 32GB? That might be plenty for most tasks!
