Hey everyone! I'm getting ready to build my first gaming PC with a budget of around £1,000 and I'm seeking your thoughts on my setup. I want to ensure it can handle demanding games smoothly at high FPS, ideally at 1440p.

Here's what I've organized for the build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
- **GPU**: NVIDIA RTX 5070
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650M PRO-VDH WiFi
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR5-6000 (Corsair Vengeance)
- **Storage**: 1TB Crucial P5 Plus NVMe Gen4 SSD
- **PSU**: Corsair CX650M 650W 80+ Bronze
- **Case**: NZXT H5 Flow / Corsair 4000D
- **OS**: Windows 11 (unactivated for now)

Do you think this setup is balanced for running demanding games at high FPS? Are there any components that seem like overkill, or where I could cut costs without sacrificing performance? Thanks a bunch!

Your build is definitely solid for 1440p! I've got a 5070 matched with a less powerful i5, and I play 4K games without issues. I manage to hit over 60 FPS in demanding titles like KCD2 and RDR2 on max settings. Older games? I'm well over 100 FPS at max settings without fancy extras like DLSS. You should be comfortably set!

Honestly, balancing demanding games and high FPS on a budget like this can be tricky. With a lower-end CPU and a mid-tier GPU, you might struggle to hit high FPS in the most demanding titles. Your expectations seem a bit high for the budget—doubling your investment could get you a better experience!

I hear you, but the Ryzen 5 7600 should do well with the 5070 for most current games. It seems like a decent combo at this budget!

I see it a bit differently. This setup can deliver decent FPS—around 100, depending on settings—but if you're really looking to future-proof, consider a better motherboard for potential CPU upgrades. Also, 1TB might fill up fast with modern games demanding more space. Overall, it’s good for now but might need some adjustments for the future.
