I'm planning a PC build with a budget of around $1500 CAD, and I could use your feedback. Here's what I'm thinking for the parts:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- CPU Cooler: Thermalight Phantom Spirit 120
- Motherboard: Asus Prime B650 + Wifi
- RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 16GB DDR5
- Storage: Crucial P3 1TB
- GPU: GeForce RTX 3060
- Case: Corsair 4000D
- Power Supply: MSI Mag A750 GLW80

I'm considering whether I need to switch anything up, especially since I feel like I could spend less on the case. Any suggestions?

With that budget, you can aim for better components. The Ryzen 5600 and RTX 3060 are decent but look into newer options if possible. Also, remember to be careful mixing AM4 and AM5 parts!

I'm new to this. Can you clarify what AM4 and AM5 are?

You could definitely improve your build for $1500. What are the exact prices you're looking at for each part? It seems like there's room for adjustment.

The case is around $150, and the power supply is about $130. Should I be investing more in the GPU and CPU instead?

Your part choices don’t seem to match up to a $1500 USD build. You might be looking at CAD prices, and that changes things! For gaming, it helps to specify your game types and desired resolution; that can change the recommendations significantly.

I'm on a budget in Canada, not looking to play intense games—just casual FPS and Minecraft. What motherboard do you recommend?
