I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to an RTX 5070 Ti, and I'm currently using a Seasonic Focus GX 650W power supply. I'm wondering if I need to upgrade to a higher wattage PSU or if my current one is sufficient. Here are my current PC specs: AMD R5 7600x, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, Asus TUF 650B motherboard, and a Samsung 770 EVO Pro 1TB M.2 SSD. I'm also running an RTX 3070 with 2 MSI Ventus cards, and I have three front fans along with one CPU cooler fan (which is air-cooled). Here's my updated PSU info: it's actually the Seasonic Focus GX 650W. What do you think?

You might be okay with the 650W since the 7600X isn’t a power-hungry CPU. Keep it under load and monitor your system's behavior. Just make sure your PSU is in good shape!
Honestly, for the RTX 5070 Ti, most sources recommend a minimum of 750W, with 850W being ideal for stability and handling power spikes. So, I think you will need to get a new PSU if you want to make that upgrade without worries.
While a 650W PSU can potentially handle it, the spikes from the 50xx series GPUs can cause unexpected shutdowns. If you're gaming hard or pushing the card to its limits, it might be safer to upgrade to avoid issues later.
I would recommend investing in a higher wattage PSU anyway. Better to have some overhead than risk instability. Plus, if you ever decide to upgrade other components in the future, you'll thank yourself!
