Is My A3 Build Good for Casual Use?

I'm working on a new PC build for my wife, and I'm thinking about using the A3 case. I'm aware it might be more powerful than necessary since she'll primarily use it for work tasks like browsing the web, checking emails, and playing some light games like jigsaw puzzles and Scrabble. However, I want a setup that lasts since she rarely upgrades. I've got a 2 TB NVME drive ready for the OS, but I haven't settled on the fan configuration yet. I'm considering 3 intake fans on the bottom, 1 exhaust fan in the back, and 2 to 3 exhaust fans on top (where I'm thinking about 2 going out the back and possibly 1 pulling cool air in from the front, if space allows). All the fans will have ARGB. Any advice or suggestions?

You really don't need a 1000W PSU for that setup. A good 750W power supply will save you some cash and still give you plenty of headroom for future upgrades. It's a solid choice for what you’re aiming to do!

Thanks for the advice! I wasn't sure if I should go higher, but I definitely want to save a bit.

By the way, it looks like the PCPartPicker link you shared is private. To make it public, you might want to check your settings or generate a permalink to share it correctly. That way, we can give you better feedback based on your exact build!

Thanks for the heads up! I fixed the link.

I have the same A3 case with a pretty powerful setup, but I actually don’t use any fans since the case is all mesh. It keeps temps down just fine. Your airflow should be decent, but you might not need as many fans as you think!
