Is My Camera Really Hacked?

Hey everyone, I got an email claiming that someone hacked into my camera and recorded some private videos of me. I'm wondering if it's even possible to hack a phone camera? If it is, how can I check if someone is really able to access it? And is there a way to log them out or secure my camera?

Yeah, definitely a phishing scam. If they had any real evidence, they would have threatened you with it instead of just sending a vague email. No need to sweat it, just delete it and don’t engage with them!

Honestly, it's likely just a scare tactic. If they really wanted to extort you, they'd have included some proof. Just block the sender and stay cautious about any future emails like this.

But is there really no way to check if someone unauthorized accessed my camera?

Sounds like a classic scam! These kinds of emails have been circulating for ages. Just ignore it and move on. They're just trying to scare you into responding.
