Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs and I'm wondering if my power supply, the Corsair RM650e, will be sufficient for my current setup. I'm upgrading from a Ryzen 3 2200G and an HDD to the following specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B550M Plus WiFi 2 (MATX)
- RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 RAM
- Storage: Orico E7400 2TB NVMe
- GPU: Gigabyte AMD RX 7700 XT OC
- AIO: DeepCool LE720
- PSU: Corsair RM650e 80+ Gold
- Case: Coolman Spectra Luxe MATX
- Case fans: DeepCool FC120
Any advice or thoughts on whether this PSU can handle the load? Thanks!

Looks good to me! But I'm curious about your original specs and what you're using the PC for. It helps to know the context. Also, where are you located? Prices can vary a lot based on your region. If you're in the US, check if there's a Micro Center nearby; they have great deals sometimes. Overall, it sounds suitable for gaming and multitasking, especially as a UI/UX designer using a 1080p monitor.
Your RM650e should be fine for your build! Just a heads up, though—you will want a decent cooler for the Ryzen 5700X since the stock one isn't the best. You mentioned getting an AIO, so that should take care of cooling. You can also use pcpartpicker.com to double-check compatibility and see the max wattage needed.
Yeah, I planned on the AIO already, thanks for the tip!
I'm from the Philippines and I got these parts on a good deal. I'm not looking for an extreme setup since it's mostly for gaming and my design work.
