Is My CPU Holding Back My New GPU Performance?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my graphics card from an RTX 3070 to a new RX 9070 XT while keeping my Ryzen 5 5600X CPU. I'm still playing on a 3440x1440 monitor, and I'm hitting around 110 FPS in Warzone, which is what I was averaging with the 3070 too. I've made several changes to settings and updates trying to figure out why I'm not seeing any improvement or even a decrease in frames. The only thing I can think is that my CPU might be the issue. Can anyone confirm if it's bottlenecking? Or is there something else I should check? Thanks!

You might be experiencing a slight bottleneck at 1440p, but it's probably not significant—especially for ultrawide 1440p. You should still notice some gains with the new GPU. Maybe check your graphic settings because sometimes games adjust automatically when they detect an upgraded GPU.

If I switch back to 1080p, would I see better performance?

It sounds like the FPS you're getting with the 5600X is pretty much the limit for that processor in Warzone. Some scenarios might be more CPU-intensive, but generally, you might be hitting the max performance of your CPU there.
