I'm about to finalize a PC build for a friend who's upgrading from an older system that's about 8 years old. They've only swapped out the SSD, so this is a pretty significant upgrade. I already picked up a GPU and SSD, but I'm considering the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X as the CPU, primarily for longevity. My friend has a 4K 60Hz monitor but isn't into 4K gaming; they just want a solid gaming rig and a daily driver. My budget was $1500 before tax, and while I'm slightly over that now, I can still make it work. I want to make sure this build won't be too much for what they need or limit future usability. Here's the part list: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MDVhLc). What do you all think?

Everything looks generally solid! Consider swapping the Power Supply for the Montech Century II 850W instead, as it's a bit higher quality and gives you more power headroom. Just make sure to check reviews on it.
What makes the Montech better apart from the extra 100W? The Thermaltake has an A tier rating. Is there a significant difference in reliability or efficiency?
