Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I want to ensure I'm making wise choices before I start spending money. I primarily play single-player games like Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Ghost of Tsushima, and I'm aiming for at least 60+ frames per second on these graphical heavy titles.

Here's the part list I'm considering:

- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- Motherboard: MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max
- Memory: Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB (16x2) DDR5-6000
- Storage: Western Digital SN850X 2TB NVME SSD
- GPU: Zotac GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
- Power Supply: Silverstone 750W 80+ Silver
- Case: Lian Ali LANCOOL 216 RGB ATX Mid Tower

Am I making any mistakes or overspending? Any feedback would be appreciated!

I'd suggest at least going for an RTX 5070 or 9070 if you're gaming heavily. If you switch to a non-X3D CPU, you might save a little cash while still achieving great performance. Also, the resolution you’re playing at can make a difference.

For RAM, going with Corsair or G.Skill might be a better bet for warranty. Consider bumping it up to 64GB if the prices are low now. I'd also recommend a more efficient power supply like the Montech CENTURY II 850W, and check your drive options too for performance. You'll want to ensure good airflow and cooling with additional fans!

Your list looks good overall, but double-check your power supply. Silverstone makes some decent ones but also some that aren't great. Can you specify which model you’re considering?

It's the Strider fully modular ATX model.

That looks pretty solid! You should be more than fine playing those games with this setup. Just ensure your GPU can handle everything smoothly at the resolutions you'll be gaming on!

I'm building a similar rig, and I chose a Ryzen 5 9600x instead since it's way cheaper where I am. I used that saved cash to invest in a better GPU, an RTX 5070. Here's my part list:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Assassin X Refined SE ARGB
- Motherboard: MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI6E
- Memory: Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB DDR5-6000
- Storage: WD_BLACK SN7100 2TB NVME SSD
- Video Card: MSI SHADOW 2X OC GeForce RTX 5070
- Case: NZXT H5 Flow (2024)
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A750BN 750W 80+ Bronze

This setup gives me great performance for the price!
