I'm looking to switch from Windows 10 to Linux Mint and would love some advice on my hardware. Here's what I'm working with:
- **Processor**: Intel Xeon E3-1240 v5 @ 3.50GHz
- **RAM**: 16GB
- **Storage**: 1.82TB SSD (Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB)
- **Graphics Card**: NVIDIA Quadro M2000 (4GB)

I mainly do programming, gaming, and browsing, not anything too demanding that requires top-tier specs. I checked ProtonDB and my favorite games seem to run well. What do you all think about my setup for Linux?

Your processor is a bit dated, roughly comparable to an 8th gen i5, so it should be decent for most tasks, but don’t expect it to run heavy programming IDEs flawlessly. Still, if it's been working for you, that’s a good sign!

I'm not trying to push the limits here. It has worked great for me with games and coding in VS Code, so I’m feeling pretty confident it's good enough!
