Hey everyone! I have a 10-inch iPad that's only two years old. I took it outside on a hot day for just a couple of minutes, and it shut off completely. I thought it might have overheated, but it didn't feel super hot, just a bit warm. After I noticed it turned off, I brought it inside to cool down, but it hasn't turned back on in three days. I took it to Best Buy, and they told me that Apple suggests getting a new one since they ran diagnostics and used their fastest charger. I'm looking for any advice or experiences from anyone who's been in a similar situation. Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my iPad where it wouldn't turn on after being outside. I did a force reset too, but it didn't help. Have you tried that? Sometimes it kicks back on after a reset!
Just a heads up, heat can really ruin internals. The CPU could be fried and since everything is soldered onto the motherboard, if that's damaged, you're probably looking at a complete replacement. It's a tough situation, I know.
That's exactly what I'm worried about! I don't want to throw money at something that might not work out.
Yeah, I’ve tried the force reset multiple times but no luck.
