Hey everyone! I've been experiencing some pretty rapid battery drain on my new iPhone 17, and I'm hoping to get some insights. I know there's usually a settling period for iPhones, but it's been almost two weeks since I got mine, and it's still not holding up well. Initially, I had a blue iPhone 17 that settled in after about a week, letting me go through the day with around 40% battery left after light usage. However, I exchanged it for a sage color and now I'm noticing the same issues. For example, I woke up with the battery at 91%, took a quick nap, and it dropped to 85%. After three hours of work, it was down to 59%. Most of my usage consists of about 25 minutes of scrolling and the 10 minutes for this post, and I've noticed the battery dropped 3% while writing it. Does this seem normal, or could there be something else going on? I upgraded mainly for better battery life because I have a trip coming up soon!

You might want to check which apps are draining your battery by going to Settings > Battery. Also, ensure that your Power Mode is set to Adaptive. That can help manage your battery consumption more effectively.

I checked and my Adaptive Mode is already on. But according to the overview, messages and Spotify are using up a lot of battery. I don’t get it; I was just messaging Apple support and lost 1% every 4 minutes even in low power mode!
