I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15ach6h. Earlier today, I changed the thermal paste and had to disconnect the battery during the process. After reconnecting it securely, I used it for gaming and work. However, about four hours later, the laptop unexpectedly shut off and wouldn't turn back on; the power button didn't respond, and the charging light was off. I opened it up to check and found that three pins on the battery connector were burnt. Even with the battery disconnected and the charger plugged in, it still won't power up. I'm really worried about it.

Burnt pins are definitely a bad sign. It sounds like there might be a short circuit. Did you use liquid metal for the thermal paste? If not, it could just be a regular thermal paste issue, but you should be cautious.

No, I used Arctic MX4, just regular thermal paste.
