I recently upgraded my system with a pair of 16GB DDR5 RAM sticks from Crucial, model CP2K16G60C36U5W. The product listing on Amazon claimed they were compatible with Ryzen 7000 series and 12th gen Intel processors. However, the packaging that arrived states it requires a Ryzen 9000 series or 13th gen Intel. I'm confused about whether this RAM will work with my new Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Is the Amazon listing incorrect? Have I received the wrong product?

According to Crucial's website, this RAM does support the Ryzen 7000 series, so you should be fine! Check it out here: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr5/cp2k16g60c36u5w.
Overall, it should work just fine!
Honestly, the RAM itself doesn't really care what CPU you're using as long as it meets the specs. If you've got a DDR5 kit and it's functioning properly, you should be good to go.
The thing is, the Ryzen 7000 series uses the same motherboards as the 9000 series. So there's no reason the RAM shouldn't work with your 7800X3D. That said, check if the packaging says "REQUIRES" or something like "ready for" those newer generations; it might just be marketing language.
Even though the packaging mentions the 9000 series, it's still the same RAM you ordered. The labeling probably just reflects their latest products since the 9000 line took the spotlight.

Yeah, it does say "requires" on the box, which is really confusing.
