Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on my upcoming PC build to see if all the components are compatible and how well they'll perform. My goal is to achieve over 120 fps at 1440p, equally between FPS games and strategy or automation games. Here's what I've got in mind for the build: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 TI GAMING OC 16GB, Kingston DDR5 Fury Beast RGB 2x16GB 6000, Samsung 990 PRO 1TB M.2 SSD, MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard, ARCTIC Freezer 36 A-RGB Black cooler, Corsair RM750e Black 2025 PSU, and a Fractal Design Epoch Black TG RGB case with an extra rear exhaust fan. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

You definitely need more storage—I'd aim for at least 4TB spread across multiple drives. Modern games can take up between 100 to 250GB, and you want to avoid running out of space mid-game!

I think you should definitely get a better cooler, like the Thermal Peerless Assassin 120SE for your 7800X3D. You could also find a B850 motherboard which might give you better value. Trust me, the PSU should be good enough—your setup will likely use less than 500W under load, so you're solid there. Plus, if you can score some 5600 MHz RAM at a more affordable price, that’s worth considering!

Honestly, you really don’t need CL30 RAM with the X3D CPU. And for the SSD, maybe go for something cheaper than the 990 PRO—like a 2TB alternative? You can also save money by skipping RGB components unless you really want that aesthetic. It can look like a Christmas tree with all that lighting!

To check compatibility, I highly recommend using PCPartPicker. It's way more reliable than AI suggestions. Also, do you have a budget cap? I suggest you get more storage—1TB fills up fast these days!

You might want to consider getting a 9070 XT for better performance. Also, 2TB of storage would be a good idea; 1TB fills up pretty quickly these days. Plus, an 850W PSU could give you more peace of mind with power supply. Just my two cents!

Why switch to an 850W? I thought the 750W should be enough for this setup.

Will cheaper RAM not work well with the X3D CPU though? Just a thought!
