Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a PC as I head off to university to study computer science, and I'm also interested in starting some content creation on the side. I want to make sure this build is future-proof, so I've picked some expensive parts (excluding the monitor). I'll be working over the summer to save up, and I plan on assembling the PC once I get to uni since I have to fly there and don't want to deal with shipping a pre-built setup. I'm currently using an older PC with a 1060ti, but I can only salvage the hard drive for this new build. I'm thinking about grabbing an SSD here to transfer my files before leaving. I plan to buy a budget 240Hz monitor when I arrive and eventually upgrade to something more powerful. I've included a link to the monitor I'm considering. My question is: am I overspending in certain areas, or should I reconsider some components? This is only my second PC build, so any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Just a heads up regarding your parts list, I noticed the monitor link appears to be in GBP. Are you based in the UK? If so, you might want to set the region in PC Part Picker to UK to ensure you're checking local prices. It could save you some cash!
If you're interested in AI work, I'd definitely recommend going with an NVIDIA GPU. They tend to be better optimized for those tasks. Plus, with their latest architecture, you'll be set for a while!
Any particular suggestions?
Thank you, much appreciated!
