Hey everyone! I'm looking for some insights about my current PC build for gaming at 1440p. My main focus is on achieving high FPS, especially for competitive games like Rocket League, Warzone, and Arc Raiders. I'm a bit hesitant to spend more unless there's a solid upgrade suggestion that would better suit my needs. Here's the current parts list:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: PowerColor RX7800XT 16GB
- **Case**: Corsair 4000D Airflow
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL 750W
- **Monitor**: MSI MAG 275QF 27" 1440p 180Hz

Overall, my total cost is around $2283.54 AUD. Any feedback on whether this setup will let me game effectively at 1440p and hit those high frame rates? Thanks in advance!

I have the same GPU, and it's fantastic at 1440p. Even with a Ryzen 5 7600X, you’ll be fine since most games are more GPU-bound. Upgrading to a 7800X3D could help in some scenarios, but your current CPU should perform well enough for most competitive games. Honestly, I'd focus on upgrading the GPU if anything.

Thanks for the input! I'm actually considering whether to spend more on that 7800X3D or just jump to a 4070 Super instead for better overall performance.

Your setup looks solid! You should easily run competitive games like Rocket League and Warzone at 1440p with over 120 FPS. For newer AAA titles, you might dip a bit below 60 FPS unless you enable features like FSR or XeSS, but overall, you're in a great spot for your gaming needs.
