Is My PC Good Enough for Streaming?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on my current PC setup and whether it's suitable for streaming. Here are my specs: an Intel Core i5-6500 CPU, MSI MS-7971 motherboard, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPU, an ADATA SP550 SSD along with a 1 TB HDD, and a 650 W power supply. It runs games really well, but I struggle with multitasking—like recording or streaming. When I tried to stream on Twitch, my PC froze. I'm thinking of upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, but I'm not sure if that's enough or if I should hold off and consider a full platform upgrade. What do you think?

Honestly, I think it's time for a new setup. Your current CPU isn’t great for multitasking, which is crucial for streaming. An upgrade would definitely help with that!
