Is my PC upgrade plan any good?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC and would love some feedback on my current setup. Right now I have an MSI B450M-A Pro Max motherboard, an RX 5600 XT graphics card, and a Ryzen 5 1600 processor. For the upgrade, I'm planning to keep the same motherboard but switch to an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB and upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 7 5700X. I'm hoping this will perform well, especially for gaming at 1440p. Do you think this upgrade is worthwhile? Also, will the RTX 5060 Ti be compatible with my motherboard?

You might want to consider the Ryzen 5600 instead of the 5700X unless the price difference is minor. For the GPU, take a look at the RX 9060 XT; it could be cheaper than the 5060 Ti while delivering similar performance. And don’t forget to update your BIOS after the CPU swap!

The 5600 is actually about 10-15 euros cheaper here, so they're quite close in price. I'm also thinking about the 9060; there's a 50 euro difference which is tempting! I updated the BIOS yesterday, so I'm set there. Appreciate the input!

Definitely consider the 5700X3D for longevity; it should keep you good for a while, especially until the new AM6 platform comes out.

I’d love to get that too, but it's about 110 euros more than the 5700X, so it's kind of out of my budget right now.
