I'm currently using an Intel i5 10600k paired with a 5070 GPU and I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 9600X, along with a new motherboard and RAM. I'm thinking about going for 32GB of DDR5 RAM with a speed of 5000 or something similar. My main focus is gaming at medium to high settings, and I've got a 1440p 165Hz monitor, so frame stability is super important to me. If there are better options out there, especially if it's worth spending a bit more for a CPU upgrade over the 9600X, I'd love some advice!

Definitely go for the 32GB RAM, but if you want an edge, higher speed RAM like 6000MHz can help with future-proofing and offering better performance in certain games, especially with that refresh rate. But if you're looking to save some cash, the 9600X is still a good choice, just make sure your GPU can keep up with your monitor!
The Ryzen 9600X should serve you well for gaming, but if you can push your budget, you might want to consider the Ryzen 7800X3D for its extra cores. A significant thing to check is your RAM; aiming for 6000MHz CL30 would be a great move instead of sticking to 5000MHz, as it can help with performance. Just keep in mind the price difference!

Why would I need 6000MHz CL30? What's the real advantage besides just better performance?
